Well, sense most nursery schools don't practice or advocate hitting, I guess the JWs are afraid nursery schools might teach them alternatives to violence and bullying, a specialty of the Craptower Society. Imagine if JW kids go to nursery school and tell the teachers they'll get a spanking if they eat the birthday cake or celebrate Christmas or eat turkey for Thanksgiving week lunch time.

JW's kids must NOT attend nursery school
by aligot ripounsous ini thought that after some 30 years as a jw the wts's teaching is so familiar that i can hardly find anything new in assembly talks, which may be the reason why, as many attendants do, i gently noze down and opening an eye from time to time is enough to catch up the drift of an all too well known talk.
still, i've been genuinely surprised last sunday by a point a bethel visitor rose in one of the p.m talks, namely that jws are not advised to send their kids to school until an age when he (she) can take a personal stand re.
xmas, birthdays, etc.

i haven't been dfed, but it could certainly happen some day.. i'm not planning to meekly put up with the preaching next time witnesses try it on me, which has made me wonder about this.
it seems a bit immature to go right up to them and say "hiya!

In the real world, if someone maligns you and treats you badly, how do you address it? It all depends on your personal style, coping skills, and on the situation.
But if you know someone's going to "diss" you or disabuse you or treat you like a second-class citizen or act repeatedly in a toxic fashion toward you, why keep going back for more?
A casual "hello" or "good bye" is fine for people like that. Why drive yourself crazy trying to figure out craziness? You have a choice. You don't have to live with it unless you want to.

Radical acceptance. The only way for me to move on is radical acceptance. I can't and won't take on the responsibility of changing them. I can only work on me and my life and leave their change and growth up to them. Moving on is the only way. In the real world, if someone avoids you and tells you to piss off, what do you do?
